Key Account Manager

At Staria, we are looking for a driven Key Account Manager to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maximizing value from our existing client portfolio, identifying new opportunities, driving customer satisfaction, and helping to shape and implement our future account management practices.
As a Key Account Manager at Staria, your role will be hands-on and business-critical. You will work closely with our Service Managers and Growth Advisors to develop and execute commercial plans for your named clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. You will be part of our Account Management team, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your ideas and influence our ways of working from the ground up. You will report to our Head of Key Account Management.
Your compensation package includes a base salary and a commission structure, with approximately 60/40 split between fixed and variable components.
In practice, you will:
Manage and grow your own portfolio of about 30 strategic, growth and key accounts, focusing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Own your sales quota and proactively plan and execute activities to achieve your targets. Develop both short- and long-term commercial plans for your clients, moving deals through the sales pipeline and track your activities and performance according to Staria’s tools and frameworks.
Work on ensuring that customer satisfaction develops in the right direction for your customers.
Take care of contract management, including new contracts, renewals, renegotiations, and pricing changes.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Service Management, Growth Advisors, Legal, Marketing, Country Sales) to deliver seamless client experiences.
Prepare and organize demos, materials, and workshops as part of opportunity development.
Help identify key decision-makers within client organizations and build strong, trust-based relationships.
Forecast your sales and proactively identify corrective actions to stay on track.
Most of your sales efforts will be focused on upselling and cross-selling Global Accounting and Payroll services as well as NetSuite projects.
Your workplace and flexibility
We are seeking candidates based in the Stockholm area. Staria’s hybrid work model offers the best of both worlds: modern office in the heart of Stockholm, combined with the flexibility to work remotely. Given that our clients are primarily based in these regions, we expect you to be at the office a few days a week to build relationships with your colleagues and clients.

Keys to success in this role
Strong experience (preferably 5+ years) in managing your own sales quota, ideally in an international environment.
Strong understanding of the “CFO mindset” – you can engage with finance leaders and understand their needs, whether your background is in consulting, finance, or sales.
You are an energetic individual, who eagerly drives activities in a structured manner internally and externally to grow our clients. Many of your portfolio clients are not aware of Staria’s full suite of services and products, hence this role requires a strong “new sales approach” and a good understanding of Staria’s offering.
You are a true collaborator and team player, comfortable navigating different teams and stakeholders. You value collaboration over going solo and are eager to contribute to our collective success.
As we are still developing our Key Account Management model and ways of working towards a more process-driven environment, you are comfortable with change and don’t get discouraged if everything isn’t set in stone yet.
Fluent in English. Swedish skills is a plus.
Experience working with financial outsourcing, fintech, SaaS, BI or ERP-solutions is a big plus.
