What it’s all about
At Staria, we help growth companies manage and develop their financial operations internationally. Our services cover global accounting, payroll, ERP consulting and BI and Planning solutions. We work with customers that operate across borders and need a partner who understands both finance and scale.
In this role, you focus on growing existing customer relationships. You help customers get more value out of Staria’s services by identifying new needs and turning them into concrete solutions.
Journey that awaits you
As a Key Account Executive, you own a portfolio of existing customers and are responsible for both their satisfaction and growth. Your role combines customer relationship management with active sales work, with a strong focus on driving new revenue through upselling and cross-selling within your accounts.
You work closely with Service Managers and other internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience and to move opportunities forward.
In practice, you will
Manage and develop a portfolio of around 25 existing clients, mainly international growth companies
Identify, build and close upsell and cross sell opportunities
Create and execute account specific commercial plans
Run customer meetings and prepare proposals and materials
Manage opportunities in the sales pipeline and maintain CRM data
Handle contract negotiations, renewals and pricing changes
Collaborate closely with Service Managers, Project Managers and other internal stakeholders
Build relationships with key decision makers such as CFOs, Controllers and ERP leads
Your everyday at Staria
We are looking for someone based in Finland, preferably in the Helsinki region. Our customers are mainly located in the capital area, and the role benefits from regular face to face interaction.
Staria’s hybrid model combines flexibility with collaboration. You can work remotely, but we expect you to spend time at the office during the week to stay close to your team and customers.
The base salary for this role typically ranges between €5,500 and €6,200 per month, depending on your experience, skills, and the scope of the role. The salary is a total monthly salary, including the holiday bonus, which is paid as part of the monthly pay. In addition, the role includes a commission model with a yearly target in the range of €30,000. Commission is paid quarterly.
Keys to success in this role
This role is a great fit for you if you:
Have solid experience in B2B sales and/or account management, ideally from complex services such as financial management, ERP solutions, or other business-critical digital services
Are used to owning your targets and results and thrive in a goal-oriented environment
Are comfortable working with existing customers and know how to identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Can build trust with senior stakeholders such as CFOs, business controllers and other decision-makers
Take a structured and proactive approach to managing your sales pipeline and customer portfolio
Have the drive and persistence to move deals forward – even when cycles vary from quick wins to long-term opportunities
Enjoy taking ownership of your accounts and making things happen through your own activity and follow-up
Work well across teams and are able to collaborate with service, delivery and project stakeholders to get things done
Communicate fluently in Finnish and English
Bring experience from a growth-oriented environment (considered a strong plus)
