Journey that awaits you
As an Accounting Advisor, you will take on client responsibility and play a key role in our growing team, working primarily with international clients. Our Swedish team currently consists of two Team Leaders and around fifteen Accounting Advisors, and we continue to expand alongside our clients’ success.
In this role, you will manage 2–5 client portfolios, acting as a trusted partner with close client collaboration and real influence. As an Accounting Advisor, you will combine hands-on accounting work – from month-end closings and financial statements to tax reporting – with a broader responsibility for quality, deadlines and client delivery. You will also collaborate closely with our skilled Accounting Specialists, who support operational tasks like AP/AR processing, invoice handling and other day-to-day activities. Together you form a strong team where you take ownership of the overall delivery.
In practice, you will focus on:
Bookkeeping and reviewing financial transactions
Monthly reconciliations and closing activities
Financial statements and annual reports
Tax and VAT reporting
Statutory reporting
Preparing financial reports and providing advisory support
Process improvement and efficiency initiatives
Building relationships and communicating with clients and external partners
In this role, you will work with complex, international clients across a wide range of industries. Many of our clients are Swedish parent companies with operations and subsidiaries globally, giving you exposure to cross-border structures and diverse business environments. You will primarily work with larger K3 companies, offering you the opportunity to deepen your expertise in more advanced accounting matters and further develop your skills within IFRS.

The practical stuff
We are looking for someone based in the Stockholm area. Staria’s hybrid work model gives you the best of both worlds: a centrally located and welcoming office in Stockholm (Östermalm), combined with the flexibility to work remotely. To ensure smooth collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders, we hope you can join us in the office a few days per week.
Our base salary range for this role is 45 000 – 51 000kr/month, depending on your background.
Keys to success in this role
· Experience working in an accounting firm/consulting environment
· Extensive experience in accounting and financial statement preparation
· Experience working with K3 companies and in international environments
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
· Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
· Experience with ERP systems and payroll is a plus (if you have experience in NetSuite that would be awesome)
· Experience with IFRS is an advantage
Why join us?
✨ You’ll focus 2-5 mid-to-large clients together with your team, enabling deeper client understanding and clear focus in your work.
✨ Here you’ll get the chance to focus on the more complex accounting tasks. You’ll primarily work with monthly accounting and financial statements, supported by a dedicated specialist handling the ongoing bookkeeping tasks.
✨ We are serious about growth, but never too serious at work. Our hierarchy is low and the atmosphere is relaxed. Here, you can bring your whole self to work — personality, quirks, and all.
✨Flexibility is part of our DNA. In our hybrid model you can work from home, our Stockholm office, or even abroad from time to time. We care about results, not where you sit.
✨While we value flexible remote work, we also prioritize in-person connections: onboarding and team days, office breakfasts, and shared events bring us together on a regular basis.
✨We’re proud of our Great Workplace certification, because it’s based on what matters most: strong teamwork, sense of purpose, managers who truly listen, and a culture where people want to stick around.
✨We’re growing and our finances are solid. You can focus on your work without worrying about the ground shifting under your feet.
✨ You’ll get benefits that make everyday life smoother: maximum wellness allowance, one hour per week for wellness activities, half days before public holidays, and 30 days of vacation.
